The firm´s founder Edward Grant is both a Spanish abogado and an English barrister. He graduated in law at the University of Southampton in 1989, and was Called to the Bar of England and Wales in 1991. He works in Spain and maintains a UK connection as a door tenant at No 5 Chambers in Birmingham.

He was admitted as a Spanish lawyer in 2001 and is a member of Málaga College of Lawyers, roll number 5538.

Edward Grant Associates provides Spanish legal services on civil and commercial matters. Many of the firm´s clients are English speaking foreigners in Spain. The main areas of work are wills and estates, contentious probate and Spanish property purchases. Recently the firm has expanded to include maritime law.
